This is frustrating because I recall a similar story with the same creator running an online shop and competitors copying her designs, but my friend ordered from her and it was like 6 months late.

I believe they kept her old apartment decorated as she decorated it. And rented it for a higher price as an Airbnb in the week of the hotel across the street, but I could be wrong.

Back when this was all going down I remember them admitting to being VERY behind. Not just a little. Like more than one month behind on rent. Like LF may have copied how those cabinets looked but it was never why they were evicted.

Clearly the landlord wanted to profit off of the work she did on her apartment, since Lisa Frank made it mainstream and popular. The strict date was so that she couldn’t change anything back.
