In December, Sikhs honour the Chaar Sahibzaade - the four sons of our 10th Guru, his mother, Mata Gujri, and the countless other Sikhs who died fighting injustice. The Vadde Sahibzaade - the two eldest sons, 14 and 18, died fighting valiantly in the face of overwhelming odds. The Chote Sahibzaade - the two youngest sons, 6 and 9, were killed for refusing to give up their principles. Mata Gujri stood by the side of the youngest sons to the very end. All this happened in a matter of days at the end of December. These are who Sikhs honour, this is the history that we share, and these are the stories that inspire us to always fight for justice. #Sikh #Punjab #ChaarSahibzaade #Sikhi
