If I’m not mistaken, iPhone (which 1/2 of the USA uses) is designed in California but made in China… wouldn’t that be a risk due to them possibly placing bugs in the phones, putting us at risk? 🤔

I have identity monitoring on all my stuff & I’ve had my data stolen from fb, X, Amazon, PayPal, Venmo, etc… but never TikTok. If they really have a concern about our data safety, fb should be banned.

if this data is so dangerous then why allow Facebook or Google to sell it to whoever they please. there's definitely stuff on tiktok where it's a surveillance app but now it's a problem because they're with China...ummm this was said 4 yrs ago and now we ban it. The whole national security argument is just a phrase because that phrase is being intentionally weaponized against US citizens.

The govt’s overview isn’t a strong arguement unfortunately. It sounds like they’re trying to control 170 million user’s freedom to chose the free speech they’re engaging in and that’s not good.
