Many of us stand ten toes down with the Black community. Stop automatically assuming we have ill intentions when many of us want nothing more than to advocate for the Black community, which is ours, too. I go through life as a Black woman and my Blackness is ONLY questioned on the internet. I don’t know what it’s like to be monoracial the same way you don’t know what it’s like being biracial. But we are both BLACK and DO have many of the same experiences as you.
White mom of a biracial baby girl (black father), and I was so stressed before being pregnant about her specific struggles with identity. I read books, talked with friends who are biracial, and did my

Thank you, I feel so validated. I never questioned my blackness until I got on the internet. I was always welcomed in black conversations growing up and my mom made me feel so secure in my skin

The amount of identity crises I’ve had so so young because of my struggles as a biracial woman (white mom, black dad). I identify as both because either way.. I’m not accepted in either community

This video makes me realize that growing up, I’ve always considered biracial ppl with one black parent to just be black but on the Internet, it’s very different.

Unfortunately, I’m white passing (I don’t think I am but it’s all I ever hear). The amount of trauma I’ve experienced being a white mom biracial from both sides is insane. Thank you for speaking out

I absolutely love the way you communicated this because I've been wanting to talk about how crazy the biracial discourse is. I'll never understand the disdain some people have over biracials

It pmo sometimes because yeah I’m aware I’m biracial but so is everyone that’s mixed with any race. Like it doesn’t explain anything about what races I am It just means I have more than one
