@nickgoesfar: In Finland, especially up North in Lapland, it’s traditional for people here to combine a super hot sauna with a shockingly cold ice bath, often in the river. The city even cut an ice bath hole in the river in a park outside of Rovaniemi for public use. You typically go from hot to cold, and then back to hot, several times.
