I have to go in the office (Mandatory) twice a week. Those 2 days have to be full days and is monitored by our fobs. Total waste of time as I get more work done when I work from home.

my job is output based. I work when I want. it means if I want to do something during the day I just catch up at night or work more the next day

I'm in the office 1 day a week, the rest from home. I accepted a while ago that my Monday in the office is a waste of a day, we go for team coffee, have an hour long meeting that could be an email, and people chat so much because it's the only day we're physically together. I get so little done because of distractions, I end up planning what I'll do at home

Then if they’re found out they should be made to come into work full time. Work from home for most people is just an easy way to do less work and they get more upset going into work now

The 9 - 5 concept has never had anything to do with productivity. It's about control. output has and always should be the metric. In person is great for collab and team building if the biz requires it

I'm confused to how some offices work, I'm sat down with my team and leaders... do people go in just to be sat in office with no one else on the team know they there? 😂

I’m asked to come to the office where I then end up sitting alone in my own room doing teams meetings just like when working from home. Don’t see the benefit. Just waste more time for commuting.

to me, the only time specific start times matter is when it directly affects your co-workers. Don't be late if you have to relieve your co-worker from their shift. Office work should be quality based

Genuinely don't know why they don't give employees the option to just work at home fully and only come in when actually needed or if they want to come in 5 days a week or whatever then let them. As long as they are doing the work required then I don't see the problem 🥴

Our business insists on the hybrid days (many joined roles during lockdowns and had no expectation of working in the office), they push the "Collab" message but reality there's little team engagement.

My job is a hands on job so I can’t working from home. But if I could I would work from home… People don’t understand how lucky they have it being able to work at home. If I had the option I wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize it.

where I work is moving to 3 days in-office and are citing system issues, but me and all my team are plagued with system issues on site. weird it never goes the other way round

Seems a bit pointless, the main pain with working in the office is getting up early and the commute. Once your there it's not much different to home if your working. 🤔

We can’t do that we get monitored all day at home and in the office. I get less done in the office coz people talk to me I prefer home working.
