Here in North Dakota it won’t work you need water tank heaters and you still have to go chop ice everyday

Did this a few years ago. Horses pulled the bottles out and grabbed/chewed the caps. Just be careful. It does work though. As long as your horses aren’t mischievous. lol

don't work in Wisconsin. it'll freeze completely solid no matter how big the bottle. this works if u get around freezing temp for short time. warm during the days.
