Well Tutu Mafia, something amazing happened and we are so beyond lucky to have been a part of it! #dayinthelife Our hometown mountain has been working with us dreaming up the idea of 'Cashy’s Corner'. A Learn To Ride (LTR) park filled with starter jibs and a sick little jump line perfect for all levels to get more comfortable in the park. LTR parks are so good for all abilities because not only can you start here to gain confidence and control but you can also come here to try to throw new or switch tricks and land them before moving up to the big jumps. We feel so lucky getting to dream this up with the park crew at Bogus Basin and have it become part of one of our favorite places to spend our winter shreds is something very special! It has been very hot here lately so the snow is melting fast and is VERY slushy. Hello Spring (like how Jerry Seinfeld says hello to Newman). Slush is a whole other beast to ride in. It is chunky, grabby and can slam the breaks on you very quickly. However, it hurts less when you fall and having the sun out and rocking sweatshirts is pretty neat too. I guess the Yin and Yang of spring riding. This is where knowing the direction the slopes face is crucial. Usually the northern and western facing slopes are best as they don't get as much sun beating them down. So of course we went to Cashy's favorite speedrun named

So of course we went to Cashy's favorite speedrun named "Blackbird" which is a black diamond run that is usually uncrowded and rides super fast. When I say fast, you can see in the video that Nick and Cash hit a new speed record on her snowboard of 53.5 MPH which is just so wild to watch them fly! However, like I mentioned above. The spring slush is always so fun for laps in the park. You can see in the last run of this video we go to our bigger terrain park to find some fun in the slush. Cashy is a whole new rider now that she's on her new Burton Grom 110 and it's showing big time! With that said, watching small fry navigate the slush and still push all of us to up our riding has been so much fun. Her style is really taking hold and I would be lying if I didn’t say that now I am just in awe of her when we ride. The best part about our days riding is that we are just one big shred crew. There is nowhere on the mountain that she can’t go and now she is teaching us (mainly Whit) things. It’s beautiful and fun. No stress, just encouraging each other to push the limits (safely) and enjoy every bit of the ride. Thank you for watching and your support means more than you'll ever know to us! Even though she falls, she gets back up (with a little help from Nick of course), and continues to soar. Then to be able to boost a jump, land in very deep fluff and ride it out is just another level. #snowboardkids This year has been a special one. We had been blessed with a few late winter storms that have given all of us the opportunity to shred the pow (FINALLY)!! Little Cashy especially. She has experienced the fluff before but this year she was able to get herself into that deep deep on the steep steep! This clip is one of our favorite little side drops. It starts steep, then goes flat, then takes you through some tighter, steeper trees to the cat track below. We don’t venture here much unless there is a lot of untracked snow because it gets icy and moguls quickly. So knowing we had an opening we went for it and little Cash was right behind us. Well technically she dropped first because, why not, but then she realized she had no idea where she was going and needed a little guidance. Powder is a different element when it comes to riding. You need to put your weight on your back foot, you steer with your back foot and you float. Regular riding you want your balance centered and you steer with your front foot. So if you think about it, watching her change up her fundamentals with such ease is very impressive. Especially when it’s like a chest high wave on her. To Cashy - We are beyond proud of the little girl you are. Not only are you sweet and kind but you have a tenacity in you that keeps us all striving to be better.
