@benrebuck: Veganuary day 5 🇮🇱 Homemade Bissli 🇮🇱 Sorry Osem, these are the new bad boy on the block. You have to try these grill flavoured homemade Bissli. Crunchy, flavourful and fun to make, they’re perfect. Shoutout @unclelouskitchen for the inspo give him a follow for sure! Ingredients 200g fusili pasta 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground coriander 1 tsp Sugar 1 tsp MSG 1 tsp salt Boil salted water for the pasta and add a bit of oil to stop the pasta sticking together Cook according to packet instructions but you want to go just past the al dente stage with the texture Drain and dry the pasta out - water and hot oil do not mix well I tried two methods for frying: For deep frying, heat the oil in a pan and add a few pieces of pasta at a time They’ll puff up and go golden in about 1 minute For air frying, spread them out and spray with some oil. I actually overcooked mine by about a minute as I forgot about them but air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until desired consistency Mix your spices in a bowl and toss the cooked pasta I preferred the look of the deep fried but the texture of the air fried (if I didn’t overdo them) but they’re both as nice as each other #vegan #veganuary #plantbased #bissli #israel
