Let’s talk about Island by @Khadlaj Perfumes 🌴🥥🌊 Top notes: Bergamot Middle notes: Coconut, Ginger, Pineapple Base notes: Amber, Tonka Beans, Sandalwood Island by Khadlaj is a lush tropical escape bottled into a fragrance and was one of my picks for my vacation in Egypt ..but it’s not your typical tropical sweet scent. It opens with a bright burst of bergamot, bringing a fresh and zesty vibe, paired with the spicy warmth of ginger. A subtle hint of pineapple adds just the right touch of fruitiness while the creamy coconut lends richness to the opening. The best part for me is the dry down, where golden amber, sweet tonka beans and soft sandalwood create a warm, sweet and velvety finish. Exotic, creamy and balanced, it feels like walking along a golden beach at sunset, with the perfect mix of freshness, spice and comforting warmth. It might lean a bit masculine for some and while I enjoy masculine-leaning fragrances too, I prefer my tropical scents to be sweeter. To balance it out, I like layering it with something more fruity and sweet. IMO, this would smell amazing on a man! It’s also versatile! Perfect for daytime wear and for a night out.
