This is my opinion and you're free to disagree, but I personally think filming in gyms has gotten out of control. I do film sometimes for content, but I try my best to only do it during non-busy hours, in non-busy areas of the gym and in a way that won't potentially interfere with other people's workouts. Even as someone who has been training for many years and is comfortable on camera, it still annoys me when I'm minding my own business on a bench or machine and someone just walks up and shoves a tripod straight in my direction without asking.
