@thefitlondoner: DAY 5 of VEGANUARY | Blended chia pudding 🍒🍫 The ultimate high protein and nutritious meal-prep brekkie for busy mornings! And if the texture of traditional chia pudding isn't your thing, blending it like this is gonna be a game-changer 🫡 Serves 1. For the chia pudding:
▫️ 2 tbsp chia seeds
▫️ 1 tbsp @myprotein soy protein powder*
▫️ 1 tbsp cacao powder
▫️ 1 tbsp maple syrup
▫️ 140ml plant-based milk To serve:
▫️ 100g frozen cherries, microwaved until softened
▫️ Soy yoghurt *to make without protein powder, simply omit and reduce the amount of milk to 100ml. Method: 1. Add the chia seeds, protein powder, cacao powder, maple syrup and milk to a blender. Blend until your desired level of smoothness (I do still like a little texture to remain!). 2. Microwave the frozen cherries for 30–60 seconds, or until soft and juicy. 3. In a jar or bowl, layer the cherries, blended chia pudding, and a generous dollop of soy yoghurt. 4. Cover and refrigerate for at least a few hours or overnight.
