@linn.miles: January is here, and there’s a whole lot of winter to go 😅 The Christmas lights are gone. It’s dark by 4 p.m. (better than 3pm like in December) 🌒 And everyone’s advice is the same: “Just hang on until April. Maybe even May” Even as someone who grew up here, I feel it - the darkness, the quiet, the slow pace of winter. People keeping more to themselves and staying inside. It’s hard to keep the kids entertained outside and even harder for my Aussie husband, who’s used to endless sunshine. But there’s also something calming about it all. The chance to slow down, rest, and embrace a different kind of rhythm ❄️ Moving to Sweden? Winters here aren’t easy, but they’re part of the experience - and somehow, we all make it through together.
