Every child/parent dynamic differs. I don’t think there are any “rules” anymore in terms of who pays for what. There’s no right or wrong answers to this. I think how you approached it was perfect!🫶🏻

I was very blessed in the way I didn’t have to ask. My parents basically told me we got the venue and you pay for the rest and that was that! Thankfully, we were able to avoid the awkward convo. Lol
