Not the hot! The hot is coming from your hot water heater. The water lines in danger are the cold lines on outer walls of the house. Keep the COLD water trickling.

the only cold water line that will see water movement through it will be the incoming cold water line that feeds the water heater.

So wrong!! when you run the hot you are taking it from the hot water tank. run the cold water it comes straight from the well or city water line

Yall!!! 😂🤣😂 All of your water comes in from ONE pipe. As long as you are running any water, you will have movement in all your main pipes.
