@stylingmyinterior: ✨ DIY Stone Bench ✨ . A couple of years ago, we used the @Kmart Australia Light Stone Decking Tiles to transform our paver-topped outdoor bench into a bench of beauty! So now that Spring has sprung, here it is again for some outdoor inspo! . Materials and Steps below! Save for later! . Materials: 🧰 Dunlop Trade Resaflex Tile Adhesive 🧰 Trowel and Bucket 🧰 Davco Sanitised Colourgrout in Bone 🧰 Paddle mixer 🧰 Tile sponge 🧰 Dunlop Natural Look Sealer 🧰 Brush . Steps: 1️⃣ Remove the black rubber backing off the tile squares and remove stones from 1-2 tiles. Save these loose stones for later! 2️⃣ Roughly lay out the stone squares where you want them, then remove the stones around the edges between squares if you want to get rid of the straight lines. 3️⃣ Mix the tile adhesive into water per package instructions using a paddle mixer tool. 4️⃣ Carefully remove tiles and spread adhesive bit by bit, before placing tiles back on, and filling in gaps between squares with the loose stones removed earlier. Allow to dry as required. 5️⃣ Mix colourgrout into water using mixing paddle. Fill in between the stones. You can use the trowel, or we actually found it easier using hands (with gloves on!). Wipe off excess grout with the sponge, and allow to dry per grout instructions. 6️⃣ Brush on 2-3 layers of sealant per bottle instructions. .
