It’s been a minute since KC has seen a blizzard like this and include the ice as well. KC is a large area. The northland saw much more than midtown. They can only do so much.

Highways are controlled by MODOT (state) and side roads are managed by the city. So you’ll see different systems in place for both. The

They're definitely out. My brother holds a completely different position in the city and they still called him out to plow all evening and overnight.

Moved here in 2007 from Joliet. I laughed the first time they closed school for 2” of snow. They still haven’t plowed our road.
