@kevin.ochieng254: Watch as the journey of water continue for Samburu women, driven by one mission: to provide water for their families. Their journey takes hours, through arid landscapes and under the unforgiving sun, leading them to the only water source available—a muddy dam. This water is neither clean nor safe, but it’s all they have to sustain their loved ones. Carrying heavy jerricans as they make the long trek home, embodying resilience and strength despite the immense challenges they face. This is the harsh reality for countless women in remote communities like these where access to clean water is a daily struggle. It’s a story of survival, determination, and the urgent need for sustainable solutions to address the water crisis in these regions. I shot this video on an assignment with The Samburu water project and through this work I witnessed the true value of having access to clean water. #documentaryphotography #documentaryfilmmaker
