Kawasaki Heavy Industries has introduced Corleo, a hydrogen-powered, four-legged robotic vehicle designed for riders, showcased at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025. Corleo integrates artificial intelligence and clean energy technologies to navigate diverse terrains. Its four independent robotic legs allow balanced and stable movement across various surfaces, with each leg operating separately to traverse rough and uneven terrain. Equipped with a 150cc hydrogen engine, Corleo generates electricity to power its limbs, positioning it as an environmentally friendly off-road mobility platform. Drawing inspiration from Kawasaki’s motorcycle designs, Corleo features a streamlined body composed of metal and carbon materials, with a head-like shield at the front end that includes built-in lights for visibility. Instead of traditional controls, Corleo responds to the rider’s body movements, adjusting its steps accordingly. A heads-up display provides real-time information on hydrogen levels, navigation, and movement stability. Rubber “hooves” enhance grip on various surfaces, and the robot can jump over obstacles, though specific performance metrics have not been disclosed. Currently a conceptual model, Kawasaki envisions a potential market release by 2050 but has not provided a definitive development timeline. Will you be getting one in 2050? . . #kawasaki #corleo #robot #robots #robotics #trending #fyp #fypシ #jeawok #jeawokmedia
