Lay a brick foundation pour concrete floor separated from the foundation and you want have that problem the weight of the house want be on your floor

When we had our house built in 2021, we had a one year warranty on everything except the concrete. That had 0 warranty.🤷🏻Still looks good and has no cracks as of today 🤷🏻

There is always an amount of add water printed on the ticket. Finishers don’t care about that.

Concrete is a liquid when it comes out, turns to a solid, therefore it shrinks. You can cut all the joints you want, have all the reinforcement you want, not if it will, it’s when it will.

Every time I do one I do half inch rebar on 16 center in both directions. Not one crack yet. Stop putting wire in your concrete slabs.

I work for a builder for years and the concrete guys. If not properly supervised they won’t level out the ground properly and they won’t pour the proper depth of 4 inches
