dam people really "but how you open the door". it's around a 2 inch peice of silicone with tape on one side,so you tape it to the door so the silicone covers the gap not sticks to the gap.

A screen door w/ weather proof really helps!! i have a metal door, no screen/ glass to block cold, i miss my old 1

I've been using this for years and yes it works if it's installed correctly. clean your door before applying the tape and should you need to remove it, get the tape warm (blowdryer over it for a few)

The gap on my door was big enough that I had to double it up. Put the first strip like you did, then the second strip I put the tape on the overlap to extend it. Worked great and no more air gets in
