just put a small amount of rubbing alcohol in your windshield wiper fluid it will do the same thing you just did

or buy a spray bottle and mix two parts rubbing alcohol (70% or higher) with one part water in a clean spray bottle. You can also add a tiny drop of dish soap spray on and works the same as that over priced can of the same thing.

Why not just turn on the defroster? I have an auto starter and turn on the settings before I go in for the night, and start it before going to work and it’s clear and warm.
