Get some mascara brushes off Amazon! They are cheap and clean your machine so well! Life saver for me!

Try to get into a habit of, at the very least, brushing and oiling at every bobbin change. My Bernina needs a lot of oil and I'm very cautious about dust.

I cleaned mine for the first time over the weekend. It doesn’t work anymore. 😢 Servicing will cost more than buying a new one. 😩

For lint buildup, this helps too. Snip off a small piece of a swiffer duster pad. Then grab the snipped piece with some tweezers & maneuver around the hard to reach places.

I used pipe cleaners. They can get into all those nooks & crannies and are less likely to do any damage.
