Bought home 2010 if I keep doing the extra principal payment it will be paid off March/ April 2026 🙏that’s 16 years earlier..but doesn’t mean I’ll own it..due to property tax for the rest of my life

I actually do pay 250 extra on my mortgage every month but I don’t send it as an extra check with stating principal only. I just had it add on on my payment . Isn’t the same ?

My monthly mortgage is 1550. I’m paying extra 1550 towards my principal. 🤣🤣🤣 Gonna pay it off in 7 years.

I just do split pay. It comes out to 13 payments a year & the 13th goes to the principal.

to make it simple to what he’s saying, just make one extra payment a year, it don’t matter how you do it, just make sure it goes towards the principal. 😊😉
