last october, i was still finding who i was and am. I was broken and thought everyone hated me. i had to be the best for everyone. I had to have perfect grades, outfits, hair, etc. I was talking to this boy that I wanted to be perfect for. I was bullied for having “chicken legs” and i never told anyone bc i was embarrassed people were going to agree. I started doing dance and that made me happy. I was always in the back of the dances so that made me self conscious. For chorus, i was in the front row and I asked to move back bc i was embarrassed of my height. but everyone said “ur too short for that.” about a year ago, my sister had some friends go to church with her and after a couple of times of knowing they went, i wanted to go too. My sister and me didnt have the best relationship so she thought i was annoying and didnt want me to go. i barley knew anyone there (in the group) and I was really just sitting there not knowing what to do. during sermons, i would sit on my phone. In that time period I was cussing, and hanging out with people i shouldn’t. but that all of that changed in December of 2023. Thanks to one of my bestfriends kaylee, me and her had a talk about God and how he is amazing and loves us. I remember she was talking to me about how she found Him. At that time, i still didnt know anything, just that i “had the Lord” I was still listening to bad music , cussing often, etc. But 4 months ago, kaylee, jaidyn, and my sister had a talk about my music taste because it was really put on my heart. I changed it and now never feel the urge to cuss. Now, Since i have been brought back to life from the Lord, I feel free and so loved. I will never forget when it was only 5 of us in the church group and now, theres 15!!!! If the Lord puts something on your heart, listen!! don’t hesitate!
