I just had one eye done, and was “compliant” and “calm” during the surgery because I was drugged. However, as soon as I walked out to my car and the drug haze had lifted I had a complete breakdown and couldn’t stop crying for hours. Being awake but drugged and unable to do anything was extremely traumatic. This was honestly the worst surgery experience I have ever had. Supposed to got back to have the other eye done but there is a 0% chance of that happening.

Not always! I just had both eyes done in Dec. they put me completely u see both times. Why? I can’t handle bright lights after concussion.

Just had both eyes done. Was I terrified prior to surgery? Yes, but I shouldn't have been. Absolutely painless. Best thing I over did!
