@anna..papalia: ⬇️ When you’re asked in a job interview, “why should we hire you”… don’t panic! 
 
🧑🏼‍💻 Most people get this answer wrong because they focus on the wrong things. They reiterate their strengths, or they repeat things they’ve already shared in the job interview. 
 
❌ DO NOT TELL THEM that they should hire you because you want the job, everyone wants the job. 
 
✅ INSTEAD tell them how you are different than everyone else. After all, they are asking you “why should we hire YOU” so tell them how YOU stack up against the competition, how YOU are different, and what makes YOU unique. 
 
🧐 I don’t know what makes YOU YOU, only you do. So start thinking about what that is. 
 
*️⃣ Perhaps you went to school for accounting but you’re in a creative field and it gives you a background others don’t have. 
 
*️⃣ Perhaps you speak 3 languages and you have a global perspective. 
 
*️⃣ Perhaps you’re an expert in your field. Perhaps you’re super passionate about this job because you grew up in this field. Perhaps you have more experience than most people.
