As someone who plays Genshin solely for the lore, yes, Natlan had a good story but it felt TOTALLY different from all the other nations. Unlike the other nations, Natlan's story felt somewhat like they were shoving it down our throats for us to enjoy. There was nothing inherently eerie or jaw dropping about the story. It had it's dark areas like the amounts of people who passed during the war but it felt so poorly executed...? The vibes sure are fantasy but not post-apocalyptic like all the other nations had.. I understand people who enjoyed it, but it's definitely the worst we've gotten so far. Like surprisingly a lot of people don't know this but Sumeru received SO MUCH hate when it released for the same reasons but the story was so good and became my favorite nation. As for Natlan, nothing can really save it. Capitanos part of the story really got my attention tho. No I'm not a Capitano glazer I didn't care about him much until now.
