I struggled with cystic acne my whole life. I recently found out it wasn’t traditional or hormonal acne, it was inflammatory rosacea 😳 my face didn’t have the regular characteristics of rosacea. I cut out salicylic acid and other inflammatory products. I switched to Prequel Cleanser and an Azeleic Acid Suspension from The Ordinary. It’s been 2 weeks and my cystic acne is 100% gone. I’m not saying that’s what you have, but it took me 10 YEARS to figure it out 😭 If you haven’t looked into inflammatory rocasea, it’s worth a shot 🩷 I hope you can figure it out soon, you’re beautiful regardless
