Visited the NT a few years ago, and had someone suggest berry springs to us for swimming. We drove out there and had a look around but decided against swimming as no one else was there. 1/2

It’s so crazy to think about what we did as kids. Swimming at Katherine low level was never questioned - now you couldn’t pay me to get in there!

LOVED the NT with all my being, I could live there. Seeing the beautiful beaches and not being able to swim in them was 💯 made up for by the springs, waterfalls and rivers ❤️

I swam at the beaches in NT in casuarina, same as in Fannie bay. Lived there for a few years. Apparently you can’t even do that anymore because the crocs have gotten bad
