no, pros pedal in circles with 360 degree constant torque, not just up and down. this thing is inefficient and adds lots of extra weight

This just making biking harder because when you’re peddling fast with a traditional pedal, the speed will carry the pedal up you just pushed your bike forward and seen the pedal go in a circle
