When I was a kid my sister and dad got a dog. I made it clear I didn’t want one and wouldn’t take on any responsibility. Eventually my sister stopped doing anything and I had to do everything.

My FIL did the same thing but all his kids told him they didn’t want it, and true to their word, they didn’t left a finger to help out with the dogs or train them. His newly remodeled kitchen ruined..
