Video credit @☠️K.M.Es☠️ The story of Hazrat Bilal’s emotional Adhan after the passing of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a deeply touching moment in Islamic history. Hazrat Bilal ibn Rabah, one of the closest companions of the Prophet, was the first Mu’azzin (caller to prayer) in Islam, personally chosen by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for his beautiful and soulful voice. Bilal had the honor of calling the Adhan throughout the Prophet’s life, and his call to prayer held a special place in the hearts of the early Muslim community. However, after the Prophet’s passing in 632 CE, Hazrat Bilal found it unbearable to continue this duty in Medina, where every corner reminded him of the Prophet. With a heavy heart, he requested Caliph Abu Bakr to relieve him of his duties as Mu’azzin, as his voice would often break in grief remembering the Prophet. He then left Medina and joined the Muslim army in Syria, finding solace in military service away from the city filled with memories of the Prophet. Years later, when Hazrat Bilal visited Medina again, many of the companions and residents, deeply missing the familiar call of their beloved Mu’azzin, requested him to give the Adhan once more. After much persuasion, Hazrat Bilal agreed. As Bilal began the Adhan, the people of Medina were overtaken with emotion. His voice brought back vivid memories of the days when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had walked among them. But when he reached the words, “Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasulullah” (I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), his voice broke, and he began to weep uncontrollably. The deep pain of calling the Prophet’s name without him being there was too much for Bilal to bear. His tears flowed, and his grief was shared by all those present, who also burst into tears, remembering the Prophet’s presence and legacy. This was the last time Hazrat Bilal ever gave the Adhan. His deep love and reverence for the Prophet were evident in his voice, and his grief echoed the love the entire Muslim community felt for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This event has become a powerful symbol of loyalty, love, and the emotional connection between the companions and the Prophet. #islamichistory #prophetmuhammad #hazratbilal #adhan #greendome #masjidnabawi #spiritualjourney #muslimheritage #loveforprophet #IslamicInspiration #medina #islamicreminder #peaceandblessings #islamicstory #sunnah
