my 23y old nephew had a piece of pencil eraser on his lungs for about 7 years, many exams, nothing found but had ashtma symptoms, used inhalers until age 19 when one day he coughed it violently😳

My son inhaled a toothpick. He said he took a breath and it was gone - lost it down the back of his throat. At the ER there were no X-rays. Just come back if you have sharp pain. So unsettling.

The bottle caps give me more an abnormal amount of anxiety. They’re the perfect shape to get stuck and have little ridges to help hold it in place.

Retired RT, had a young male patient who inhaled a small paper clip. Pulmonologist was able to remove it with a bronchoscope forceps. He was fine afterwards.

When I had my wisdom teeth removed they left my braces brackets on and 2 fell off- one was found in the suction the other they couldn’t find. I had to go to a local hospital for X-rays. Thankfully
