@sophymed: Caramel & pecan cinnamon rolls🥮🌟 Ingredients: 200 ml warm milk 40g sugar 1 egg (room temperature) 7g dry yeast 60g melted or soft butter (NOT HOT) 430g flour Caramel sauce 3 tbs (I have a recipe on my page) 100g roasted pecans for the filling: 150g soft butter 70g sugar 2 tbs cinnamon Mix all together and that’s all🫶🏻 In a big bowl combine warm milk, sugar and yeast together. Let it sit 10 minutes. Add one egg, mix well with a whisk. Add melted (but NOT HOT) butter and flour. Mix with a spatula first. Then knead the dough until soft and not sticky. If it’s sticky a bit, try to add some extra flour and continue to knead. Cover with a towel and let the dough proof in a warm place for an hour. It should be double the size. Roll the dough into the big rectangle. Add your filling, distributing it evenly. Cut in stripes and roll each one into the cute bun. Or roll the whole rectangle and then cut into 7-9 pieces using a knife or a thread. Add caramel sauce on the bottom of a baking dish, sprinkle with chopped pecans and put your buns on top with 2-4cm distance from each other. Let them proof for another 20-30 minutes. Bake at 180C in the preheated oven.
