he used to do “shop with a jock” and he would get the chargers and Padres to go and shop with kids that were less fortunate and give away a lot

I met Junior one time in 05 at a golf tournament in SD that was an amazing experience. such an animal on the field yet a gentleman in person. REST IN PEACE 55

I got a Junior story. My dad played for UH back in the 80s and was heavily involved with alumni stuff. So in 1999 he took me to the Pro Bowl and we were able to get into the locker room to meet 1/3

My mom’s friend used to work at his restaurant in San Diego. We would go there all the time and he’d always be walking around saying hi to people. Seemed like such an upbeat guy.
