Shakshuka focaccia 🤯 and it’s vegetarian! My roommates and I ate this entire thing immediately after the camera cut off… For the focaccia recipe, follow @ethanchlebowski recipe on YouTube! *NOTE: bake it in parchment paper lined baking dish! This is for easy removal once pieces of the middle have been removed.  Make sure the parchment extends up the sides of the dish. Shakshuka Ingredients: -1/2 medium yellow onion, diced -1/2 bell pepper, diced -2 cloves garlic, minced -3 tbsp harissa paste -2 tsp smoked paprika -1 tsp cumin -1 tsp chili powder -1 can crushed tomatoes -salt -3 eggs -6 oz crumbled feta -cilantro, rough chopped -make shakshuka while the focaccia is baking -in a med-high skilled add the peppers and onions w a splash of olive oil.  Sauté 2 mins. -add garlic and sauté 1 min -add harissa paste and stir -add dry smoked paprika, cumin, and chili powder & stir, toasting the spices for ~1 min. -add crushed tomatoes and stir.  Bring to a light simmer for about 15 minutes.  Stir occasionally  -add splashes of water if it gets too thick -add salt to taste -once the focaccia is finished, while still in the parchment lined baking dish, cut a hole in the top in the shape of an 7” diameter circle.  -using tongs, remove the bead inside the circle, keeping the focaccia in tact on the bottom. -if you begin to see holes in the bottom, take the pieces that have been removed, flip them over, and cover the holes. -add the finished tomato sauce to the center hole and spread evenly. -using the back side of a ladle, create 3 divots in the sauce. -add one egg to each hole. -place back into 425 deg oven for 15-20 minutes.
