Hi, my bird is the same but the head colour is different, it try’s to bite and we have not tried to cut the nails because they are dark so it’s hard to see the blood vessels, any tips

I went to the vet and was told beak trims are not necessary as there shouldn’t be the need for it. If you are having to trim it it’s a health issue
