Senior nutrition student - The ratio of omega 3 to 6 is supposed to be to 4:1, a higher ratio of omega 6 leads to the production of level 2 and 4 eicosanoids which promote an inflammatory state in the body. while not something that should be totally avoided, seed oils are not something to be consumed heavily, and unfortunately most ultra processed foods contain high amounts of them.

it’s better in terms of heart health bc it’s unsaturated obviously but for overall nutrition it is better to eat natural beef tallow rather than highly processed seed oils
