I never had an iron issue until I got fibroids. Never had issues with my cycle either being heavy until fibroids. This started at 45, I'm 48 soon so getting a hysterectomy this year.

Do you not get yearly blood tests to check all of your levels? That’s how I keep track of my health… I have to have iron infusions….

I just got bloods to check my iron on Monday, I’ve been iron deficient as long as I can remember and had iron infusions in both pregnancies 😂 will be very surprised if it’s not low
