Hear me out though, we do use fusible interfacing but face the fusible side to where after you turn it it’s towards the outside and then you can use it like heat n bond or glue to hold it in place while you sew? Someone let me borrow your brain and tell me why this wouldn’t work

Maybe a bit of an odd question, but is there any issues with the interfacing being sandwiched between two pieces of fabric once it’s been washed? Does the interfacing need to be dissolvable in water?

I use the lightweight fusible and use a roller to press the shapes until I place it on the main piece and iron on and then stitch down in my favorite method - Eleanor Burns taught me this
