Or you respond to the letter the Bank that actually owns your leased car sends you 90-180 days prior to lease end, buyout terms are provided. Never involve a dealer in a buyout.

Leasing company charges for damage and mileage. Not the dealer. You get a bill from whoever you pay your lease payment to at the end

The dealer doesn't charge the fees: the leasing company does. The dealer does the inspection.

Right you essentially pay the original residual cost less some monthly depreciation. Because the leasing company insures the lease, there is no negotiation. You pay that amount or turn in the vehicle.

Just before end of my lease, went to credit union & called leasing bank for payoff to buy it and credit union mailed them a check did not even go to the dealer once.-extended warranties & gap ins incl
