If it’s your first house you’ll only need 3% down and then ask seller to cover closing costs.. it’s still hard but much easier than $20k

In the process of buying a house in CT rn at 19. Buy a multi family. you dont have to put 20% down it’s completely your choices. Conventional loans exist for a reason. 5% down is an option.

When you do the math, home ownership is not really worth it. There are a lot of unrecoverable costs to owning. Rent cheap and invest aggressively
