I was hanging out painting models at my local GW once, this kid comes in probably 12 years old wanting to play with someone I happen to have enough for a 1,000 pt game so I said I'd play him. he had this small stuffed pineapple that he wanted to proxy as a Ballistus dreadnought, and only build one of his Terminators so far. the guys who worked at the store actually lent him a ballista's dreadnought, and enough Terminators to have a full Squad and played. was a fun game

Ok Hear me out. Proxy Wars, where you have the most crazy and out of pocket proxies that are still about the same sizes. I wanna walk into a hall and there's nothing but cans and boxes and shoe boxes and ramen packets and... This would be thr best tournament ever. Skittle and M&M hit points. As the guardsman die, their mini-snicker selves are consumed by the opposing player, etc
