Book of the New Sun is life changing. And yes. It will require more than one read. But it’s incredibly enjoyable on the first read too. Just go along with it and embrace the weird.

I think you’d really like a podcast called Shelved by Genre. They covered book of the new sun in depth. They also did earthsea, and now they’re starting the William Gibson sprawl trilogy

My fiance & I read the New Sun Series starting last Jan. It was stunning.We then read long sun. We are working our way through short sun now. These works are all connected and they are all fantastic!!

W.G. Sebald is a marvel. A truly great writer with amazing range. Highly recommend Austerlitz if you're into literary nonfiction.
