I got arrested for truancy… im a medic, worked all day on the ambulance.. pulled in my driveway IN MY UNIFORM, got arrested because my son had been skipping school and taking the mail from the school

Yes ma’am. My ex got arrested for evading arrest. He was on foot and had headphones in. He didn’t know cops pulled up. He got taken to the ground and didn’t know they were cops at first. Jail.

People don’t realize you get held in jail before even seeing a judge or going to court. You could be 10000% innocent, full on police have the wrong person, and still be in jail.

100%. it’s the same idea as “you’re so much closer to being homeless than a billionaire”. unless you have a LOT of money/connections, you could easily be that older woman with her blankie

My parents were arguing and my mom threw the phone at the wall. Then she stormed out. She was arrested in the McDonald’s drive thru for obstruction because my dad got mad and called the cops but he had to plug the phone back in to do so. My teenage brother was with her, and they left him there in the McD parking lot alone.
