DOES SHILE PEPPER CAUSE MISC@RRIAGE? 10 THINGS EVERY PREGNANT WOMAN SHOULD KNOW Are you pregnant and wondering whether eating pepper or shile pepper can cause misc@rriage? Here are 10 important things you should know: 1. Pepper does not normally cause misc@rriage. Eating pepper in normal food amounts is not known to cause pregnancy loss. 2. Spicy foods are generally safe during pregnancy when tolerated by the mother. 3. Pepper can worsen heartburn. If you already experience pregnancy heartburn, very spicy meals may make it worse. 4. It may cause stomach discomfort. Some pregnant women may experience bloating, abdominal discomfort or diarrhoea after eating very spicy foods. 5. Pepper does not induce labour. There is no reliable evidence that eating spicy pepper can start labour. 6. Your tolerance may change. Foods you enjoyed before pregnancy may suddenly trigger nausea, reflux or stomach upset. 7. Moderation is important. You do not need to completely avoid pepper unless it causes you discomfort or your healthcare provider advises you to. 8. Be careful with pepper-containing sauces and meals. The concern may sometimes be other ingredients, excessive salt, poor hygiene or contaminated food, rather than the pepper itself. 9. Wash and prepare fresh peppers properly. Good food hygiene is especially important during pregnancy. 10. Bl££ding or severe pain should not be ignored. If you experience vaginal bleeding, severe abdominal pain, dizziness, fainting or other concerning symptoms, seek medical care promptly rather than assuming pepper is the cause. THE BOTTOM LINE: Eating shile pepper does not ordinarily cause misc@rriage. If pepper makes you uncomfortable, reduce the quantity and choose foods your body tolerates well. Every pregnancy is precious. Eat safely, stay hydrated and keep up with your antenatal care. #PregnancyTips #PregnancyNutrition #HealthyPregnancy #PregnancyCare #fyp
