@mapishi_and_motherhood: We love making vitumbua in our house. This is one of various recipes we have. The rice must be soaked for 6 hours or overnight. We used 2 cups of jasmine rice, 1 and 1/2 cup of tui (coconut milk) 7 g of hamira (yeast) 1 egg, half a cup of sugar and enough cardamon. EGG is not a must #food #vitumbua #swahilifood.
