Well, the great answer is, yes they can AND they defrost really well as well. You can use them to make up sandwiches (you can even freeze whole sandwiches - if you have room in the freezer - to save yourself time in the morning making packed lunches). Or alternatively roll the slices of meat individually before freezing to allow you take take out as much or as little as you like, as you won't be able to refreeze the meat once defrosted. Finally if you can get any shredded meat, this is perfect to add to simple pasta dishes in the future to up the protein of the dish.
