@nbcla: A father and son tried to save their home as the Eaton Fire continues to burn in Altadena. ⁠ ⁠ NBC4's Michelle Valles helped flag down a fire truck that was driving by as photographer Joel Cooke grabbed a hose and jumped in to help. ⁠ ⁠ Neighbors in the area also stepped in to help as flames and black smoke emerged from a home. ⁠ ⁠ The fire is currently burning over 10,000 acres, according to Cal Fire. ⁠ ⁠ #nbcla #EatonFire #Altadena #fire #SantaAnaWinds⁠ ⁠
